Okay, it isn’t on consoles just yet, but it’s on the iOS and that ain’t bad … for a start.

So, we all heard that a few months ago, WWE trademarked Wrestlefest. Now, I saw a link to a post on Kotaku about Wrestlefest coming back for mobile platforms, but the link was dead. I googled it and all of the links seemed to be dead. I found this picture, however. I can’t find a solid source of information to confirm anything, however. I don’t even know if this picture is legit, but I had to post it here.

Saw this today. There’s a minute long video showing some game play. Here’s an excerpt:

But WWE.com holds out hope that some video game company will see the button-mashing appeal of vintage WWE Superstars battling it out, perhaps with a mix of today’s best Superstars and Divas added to the roster, and BRING IT BACK for play on current video game consoles.

Ok, we’re getting there… 500 confirmed will be excellent. Remember, if you sign, make sure to confirm, it’s a much more effective campaign that way!

I’m really hoping for 500 by the end of the year, it’s a good round number and looks good when trying to fight for a cause. I’ve resent email confirmations to everyone who signed and didn’t confirm, hopefully that will had a few numbers to the list.

Not the best ratio, but we’re getting there. Just wanted to update everyone. The petition stopped reporting (publicly) how many people had signed.

I’m happy to see so many signatures, but without confirming via email, it doesn’t show up. Some of these unpublished other halves are spam, but there are plenty that aren’t. Please make sure to confirm when you receive the email. Strength in numbers!

YAY! Finally have 100 signatures! I hope there are lots more to follow. The more the merrier. I should probably put up a new video or something, any ideas?

I wanted to put this up on youtube, but whatever compression they use makes some of it blurry and unwatchable. I’ll have to mess with it or maybe shoot with better lighting.
